    Disc partition

    Hi experts,

I recently installed suse 11 on my laptop. In my computer, I have window and linux.

Now I would like to split my windows drive C:\ into 2 partitions. And backup the system drive. I tried the software 'Partition Manager', but it does not work when the windows under Linux control.

Could anyone tell me one solution?

The easiest tool for partitioning (in my opinion) is Gparted.

You can find it in the PartedMagic LiveCD, or the Gparted LiveCD, and when using it from the liveCD you don't run into the mounted partition issues.
