    Question FireFox only browses Novell

    Have recently upgraded to suse 11 after using 10.3.
    I cant get Fire fox to browse anything other than the Novell sites and suse pages. Has anyone come across this before?

    You probably have no Internet connection at all and are looking at offline files which are stored on your machine after an install. In some distros, the browser defaults to these pages for the home page.

    Maybe SUSE couldn't recognize or configure your NIC at install time. Can you ping anything? Google, your router? What's the output of ifconfig?
