Flash 10 x86_64 not working with SuSE 9.3 and Firefox 1.0.4

    Hey, everyone!
I hope you guys can help me.
I've a linux machine with SuSE 9.3 in x86_64 and I need to install flash player on it. I've followed every installation instruction to the letter that I can find on the web (let's face it, its not a very complicated installation) process) and i can't get it to work. In fact I can't even get it to be detected by Firefox. I've also followed every suggestion I can find and nothing's worked.
I believe this might be because I haven't found any suggestions that are specifically for my set up, i.e., SuSE Linux 9.3 in x86_64 with Firefox 1.0.4.
I know that this setup is very outdated, but unfortunately, updating the operating system or the browser are not options.
    Can anyone help, please?

    Many thanks!
    Cheers!

Are you running a 64bit version of FireFox? If so this will probably not work with such old software. You might try to find a 32 bit version of FireFox.

I think you'll be stuck with Flash 7 which was originally included in the 9.3 repos but they're long gone now...

A lot of things have changed since 9.3 from the sound architecture to the X version to the browser plugin architecture...I can't see this being good news. If you can find an old Flash 7 rpm you might be in luck.
