[SOLVED] How can I run windows apps on Linux?

I'm about to try Wine. But I'm scared it starts vomiting errors like any other VM app.

What do you recommend? I bought a nice Nokia N95 but of course, applications are only for Windows.

Well, just like I thought... I've installed Wine but I can't find it.

    How

How did you install Wine? If it's truly installed it's in there somewhere...

Have you saved the Nokia executables to your machine?

Somewhere out there you should have a wine directory... open the CLI, cd to the wine directory, type in

    wine /path to .exe/%program%.exe

as an example... I run a windows only softphone through wine (starphone.exe)

I have saved the executable file to my wine directory... cd to wine directory and type:

    wine starphone.exe

    Hey man.
    I've used YaST.

But, OMG! I've found it. Hehe, you were right, there was a usr/bin/ file to run. Well, thanks a lot, since you mentioned it I've realised.

    Cheers.
