    general help !!

    hi guys
    im a complete noob when it comes to linux .. so my girlfriend got a HP net book for christmas and she wants to have some games on especially "the sims" is there anyone there who can help us out ?

    It would be helpful if you told us which particular distribution of Linux your girlfriend is using as there are over 1,000 available and there are differences in what is installed by default and how you install new programs, etc. You should be able to find out version by going to /etc/issue or /etc/release files.

    i also really doubt the sims will play on wine though but let us know wat distribution you are using
