It's a grub error. Reboot from the cd and use the failsafe option.
There should be an option for system recovery on the menu you get. Try using this to fix the bootloader problem.
If this doesn't work, it's prbably quicker to reinstall using the failsafe boot option.

Grub usually associates a number with the errors. If you had a number, it would be good to post the complete error message. Were you trying to boot Opensuse or do you have another OS on your machine?

I expect your got "grub loading stage1.5..." and it just stopped there?? Grub starts with stage1 file in mbr, goes to stage1.5 then stage2 files. It can't find stage1.5. When you installed Opensuse, you were given an option just before the installation completed as to where to install the bootloader. Doesn't seem to have completed. If you know how to open a terminal/konsole, do that login as root by typing "su" or "su -" in the konsole window, then type "grub" and you should get a grub prompt (grub>).
type these commands and post the output:
find /boot/vmlinuz
find /vmlinuz
find /boot/grub/stage1.5

Sounds like he let the "Installation" use the rest of his disk.
"The Linux way !" is way to complicated, for n00bies that is. So to "DEL" partitioms we'll do this.
Which is the easiest way to get rid of "TOTAL" partitions is=Boot a WinXP Disc, Then use that to "DEL" ALL partitions.
Now we can Install Linux, Fresh !
