    Javascript is an interpreted language that comes with your browser. Since most Suse installs are GNOME would suggest that you have Firefox. Javascript is enabled in Firefox by default and you can test this through a "hello world" program of which there are plenty on the internet. Check Edit | Preferences | Content

    Install a newer version also you did not mention What browser you are using install latest java script and flash
