Failed to start X server error

I installed Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop sp2 on my acer laptop 6930..

i encountered two problem..

1. I wasnt able to configure the network connection

2. After installation im getting an error while loading the desktop environment as

"Failed to start X server --- parse error on line 100 Section Monitor in file /etc/x11/xorg.conf
The horizSync keyword must be followed by a list of numbers or ranges, Problem while parsing config file"

can anyone pls suggest me a suitable solution ??

Did you try to edit xorg.conf file manually?

Boot up in Failsafe ( Command Line ) mode and execute sax2 command. Reconfigure display settings and reboot.

thanks dude... it worked out.. i reconfigured the xorg.config file using " X -configure" command..
