    Why does a system (after consistent power instability) prompt the root to initiate filesystem repair protocol, which is executed successfully, but still insists that the 'ext2fs' (for /home) 'check failed' but can still access files?

    The file system is damaged. What did you do to repair it?

    I just ran a check on all filesystems I have, having been prompted to do so in the konsole session ('telinit1'-like session)
