    [SOLVED] Upgrading kernel...?

    Hi,

    I have downloaded the source of latest kernel of linux which is -linux-2.6.28- from The Linux Kernel Archives.

    I have Suse Linux 9.2 with kernel 2.6.8. (full install from DVD) I want to upgrade this kernel to latest version.

    Plz help me in detail how to do.

    I just can not get the latest version of suse 11.x because I belong to area where internet speed is slow and latest versions linux reach here when they become obsolete.

    Plz plz guide me.
