    Increasin the size of Suse linux parition...?

    Hi,

    I have a primary partition of 3.16 gb (resier fs) on which Suse is installed + a swap partition 761 mb.

    Besides another partition of about 16 gb (ntfs) on which windows xp is installed.

    I have a multiboot system with grub boot loader- all working fine.

    Now I want to increase the size of my suse partition by taking free space say about 3 gb from 15 gb partition on which windows xp is installed.

    How can I safely do it?

    Oc9ine.

    You can do that easily and safely through PartedMagic LiveCD.
    Post output of fdisk -l command here before resizing Partitions.
    Code:
    su -
    fdisk -l
    * Its small L in fdisk -l.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    You have to download it. If you have slow internet connection then download this version. Its size is around 40MB only.
