    Im not entirely sure what you mean, the only thing that pops up when I log in is a Kwin window saying "compisiting was too slow", have a done a google on nvidia spash screen but dont recieve anything that looks like them.

    I'm not sure you followed my original instructions to the letter. The NVIDIA repository is definitiely where I explained. Once you've added that to your other software repositories you just select it from the list on the left of the Software Management screen. You'll see a dropdown selection box which defaults to 'search' change this to 'Repositories' and choose 'NVIDIA'. Then on the right choose the driver files.

    Okay ill try your instructions again, but for the time being I cannot even log in... Whenever I start the pc and choose any boot option it will say "kernel Panic - not syncing: Fatal Exception in interupt"
