    Power saving questions.

    Hey I got a computer here that powersaves in taxtmode meaning the monitor powersaves and then for some reason my mouse and keyboard don't work when it goes into power saving mode. Is there anyways I can stop my monitor from powers saving or at least makesure my computer keyboard works when my monitor goes into power save mode?

    Start the Powersave applet (kPowersave in KDE) and set the profile to "Presentation," which will disable all powersave features.

    question after keyboard n mouse stop working how do you get them working again how do u get out of powersave mode

    i must say ive had a similar problem but my problem was caused by my graphics driver i had screensaver enabled so when the screensaver started my keyboard n mouse locked up and couldnt use them had too manually reboot the only solution was too disable screenaver n leave screen blank then off
    till i got me a nvidia graphics card
