    adding yast repositories

    hi
    im new to suse so i don't really know what i'm doing so uncomplicated replies would be appreciated

    i have tried adding new repos to yast in the form of ftp/http. everytime i put in the server name and directory it comes up with cannot find source etc...
    how would i fix this or properly input the info?

    Go to yast>software>s/ware repos.
    Choose community repos and add them from there.

    Also tell use the Version of Suse the details are different for older versions.

    10.0 has been discontinued in many repositories

    and i suppose these newer repos cannot be crossed over to 10?
