    unable to see tabs in the bottom toolbar in Suse 10

    hello friends,
    I am new to linux, and have just installed Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10, now i have a problem that in the bottom tool bar i am getting all the setting, but the windows which i open, do not show up in the bottom bar, because of which i have to use "Alt+ Tab" to open the window, can any one suggest the setting to be made so that the opened windows are displayed in the bottom tool bar.

    KDE or Gnome?

    in KDE

    right click the bar select add applet select taskbar

    Should be the same idea. right click the toolbar and you should get a menu that allows you to add/remove items. It works like that in Windows and KDE so Gnome should be more or less the same.
