Very serious problem, need help!
Hi. I have a problem. First of all, i am a noob. So heres my story.
I had opensuse 11.0 and win xp installed on my laptop. I wanted to uninstall opensuse, beacause i have a quite little hard disk and i needed the space (i use xp much more). So i didnt read how to uninstall just tried to do it myself. I wanted to uninstall it using opensuse dvd. I didnt find my os 11.0 dvd, but i have found a 10.3. I have inserted it, boot from dvd and started to install. I have formatted the linux partition and when the installation started i clicked abort. After this when i started my laptop i always got an error message something like this: GRUB loading please wait... Error 22. And nothing happens. I tried to reinstall suse(10.3) but i got a bunch of errors (cannot install this, cannot install that...) finally got the same problem. I have found on opensuse site how to uninstall broken opensuse. I started the rescue disc, did everything what they said, deleted all the linux partitions. They said i need to delete GRUB with "fdisk /newmbr", but when i try this nothing happens. After all this when i start my laptop, im always getting the same error message: GRUB loading... Error 22.
Please help me fix this

Well You coulda took the easy route and Done what was suggested by DevilsCasper in this post
But no worries I hope. You can use Supergrub Disk to Get back into Windows maybe. There Home site looks like its down right now so the Link I'm giving you is direct to the mirrors. Download and burn the Supergrub disk bootable ISO. Boot up your computer with the bootable iso. and select from the menu fix Windows boot.Hi and Welcome !
Does any kind of Menu appear at startup for OS Selection? If yes then boot up from Windows Installation CD, select Repair(R) and execute Fixmbr command at repair prompt.
It will remove Linux Boot Loader and Windows OS will boot up by default.
Boot up Windows OS and type diskmgmt.msc in RUN box. Windows Partitioning Tool will pop up. Remove partitions marked as Unknown and create new.Linux Registered User # 475019

Glad to hear you got this fixed. It's also possible to fix this using the 'repair' option on an XP installation disc. Just type 'fixmbr' at the repair prompt.
