    PackageKit Error

    Dependancy Resolution Failed
A package could not be found that allows the task to be complete blah blah

is the dialog box I get when I start up my computer. I just started using openSUSE 11.0 from Ubuntu and everything is different but im sure it all ends up being the same in the long run.

Anyways when I click more details
brasero-0.8.4-0.pm.1.i586 requires gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad, but this requirement cannot be provided
Thats what pops up..I have had it happen with other apps to like Splashy etc.

If you are doing your installs via Yast you should not get these errors. This is a dependency error. In this case you need to go to Yast-Software-Software Management and search for

    gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad

    and install it.

Note this may not be in the default repositories so you may need to add the packman repository. Also done in Yast
