    Hi there,
    Welcome to the forum... Can you be more specific? Open your [I]system monitor[I] and look for what's using your cpu and therefore make your fan go "faster". Then report your finding here. Vaio is known for having couple hardware bugs ... Also check the brightness of your system sometimes it makes hotter ..

    Try lm-sensors.
    Is you CPU is heating up so much?

    you can also see the fan0/fan1 in sensors.
    You can control them using pwmconfig
    Never make any misteaks.
