Zip files and Stucking

Hello everybody , I am new to Linux and i have 3 questions .

I have openSUSE 11.1

1: I want to install aMsn and i need tcl and tk . So I downloaded tcl and tk zip files but dont know where to put them or how to install them ( don't know which expression is right !)(SOLVED)

2 : Just before Linux somehow stucked when i was browsing with firefox and I couldnt do anything than manually rebooting . Can I do something when linux stucks ?

3: Is the download speed getting slower ? With Vista I downladed max with 700kbps and with Linux I reached only 250 kbps !

4 : How to install the nVidia drivers for me ? I got 8 series and downloaded the driver but dindt understand the way to install ! It says with yast but...didnt figure it out

2) If the desktop is frozen you might try ctrl-alt-backspace to quit the gui or ctrl-alt-f1 to switch to a terminal. Type halt once you are in terminal and logged in.

3) try disabling ivp6. Type about:config in address bar search for ivp6 set the entry to true.

4) NVIDIA - openSUSE

note in general you use Yast to install software it is much easier then compiling from source.
