    Netgear wg311v3 won't work on HPPavilion 563 with ubuntu jaunty

    Subj line says it all. I dumped xtpro and only has jaunty. The netgear card is not supported by linux. Tried ndiswrapper but cant access it to find the 311 option. Any help would be really ap]preciated by this relative newby.

    This is a pci adapter, right? From what I've seen, the chipset is a Marvell 88w8335. Double check this by looking at (or posting) the output of lspci.

    You're right in that there are no native drivers for this card, but ndiswrapper should work. It's unclear to me what you mean when you say you "cant access it to find the 311 option".

    latest driver for 32 and 64 bit

    I've been combing through google for hours and hours trying to get my wg311 netgear card to work. It was a no go until I installed your newly compiled driver. Thanks a million, I'm posting using my spiffy new wlan0 interface!
