    Question Connect Mobile

    Hi All, hope everybody would be having best of their health,
    I am new to this forum as well as new3 to linux SUSE
    a week later i have got the task to build an sms-server, i got smslib and tried to build it over windows environment. i successfully done it...the next step is to build and configure to company's linux ...i have configured smstools v2.2 on linux as well but i donot know how to connect mobile phone or any other GSM modem to linux server, because in windows i have pc suite installed so i have no problem but i donot know how it could be done in linux..please please any one replied me in detail step by step procedure because i am very new to linux....
    please forgive me for my bad english composition.

    You want to connect phone as a Modem or for File Transfers.
    Well, This depends on your Mobile Phone model, which you have not mentioned.

    Hi thanks..

    Yes i want connect mobile as a Modem, I have Motorola L6, Sony Ericsson w810.

    Above 2 model working proberly WIN, In linux Connext as File Transfer(Transfer Mode) only icant connect as modem(Phone Mode). Any Drivers is needed?...i cant

    I'm not sure about Moto L6, I have tried L7 which gets detected as mass storage.
    and about Sony Ericsson, all you have to do is connect phone in phone mode.

    You can also try GPRS Easy connect which supports huge number of models
