    64bit or 32 bit SLED 10.1

I have read many posts regarding the question as to whether a 64 bit OS is better than a 32bit OS, and I think I have nearly come to a conclusion that a 32bit OS would run better on my hardware than a 64bit OS.

I want to install SLED 10.1 on my laptop, but the disc I have is dual sided and I have the opportunity to choose between 32bit and 64bit.

I have the HP TX-1410US Tablet PC. It has the AMD Turion64 dual core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz. I upgraded from 2 to 3GB of RAM, and my video adapter is the nVidia GeForce 6150 Go.

I have been running various distributions, and my favorite so far is PCLinuxOS, and it runs so much faster than Vista 32 on this hardware, that I really only run Vista for my college classes with Kaplan which 'require' Windows, Office, and AIM, rather than the Linux alternatives. I have yet to perform a task which cannot be performed adequately in Linux with OO.o and Pidgin.

I like virtualization technology as a hobby, and I have been known to play with VirtualBox and Qemu, running different host/client setups just for demo purposes. I do play with Blender and GIMP a lot, but other than that, I mostly browse the web and write papers or short stories.

So am I correct that unless I:
    A) need to upgrade to the max 4GB my MoBo will support,
    B) plan to run a virtual network of multiple 32 bit clients on a 64bit host,
    or
    C) plan to get into much more intensive applications or perhaps more advanced features in Blender such as creating videos or games,
I should stick with the 32 bi version?

Should I even bother installing SLED 10.1 for these applications, or my current OS more than sufficient?

Yes, I meant SLED 11, sorry. I was thinking that I haven't tried SUSE since 10.
