sar command give strange results
I have often used the sar command for monitoring our Unix computers. Just recently we started using Linux systems also. I installed the sar (sysstat) and have used the command there also. However, when I used the -d option to display device usage all the devices have the same name "dev8-0". For example if I have 4 drives on the system it will show 4 devices all with dev8-0 under the DEV heading.
