    Post Desktop Effects problem

    in SLED 11. my computer-control center-desktop effects is getting DISABLED every now & then! when restarted. extra effects,animations & other accessibility effects are getting disabled even if it is set to default settings. i have no animations working.
    i don't have a graphics card, i have a inbuilt normal(default) graphics card in my INTEL motherboard. what could be the problem?

    I think to have desktop effects running correctly you need an accelerated 3D graphics driver installed. Check that you aren't using a vesa driver.
