You can download from here
openSUSE.org
There are many ways to install. IMO the easiest is from the DVD/CD.
First make sure any important data you might have is backed up just in case.

If you wanna play around w/ Linux to get a feel of it first before installing, maybe try a live cd so that you don't lose anything.
