    I would suspect it would do the same as suspend to disk. If you lose power....you lose power. Which means the Disk would stop spinning. But i've never tried it so I'm not really sure.

    Unhappy Tried it myself

    hello everybody,
    Thanks for replying
    Tried it on my system.
    If my system loses power while sleeping, it goes thru an "improper" shutdown.
    The next time it starts, if I tap the 'Esc' key to see the boot messages, i see somethin like-"recovering journal entries"..
