    Post genome terminal HELP

    hello..
    friend's and.Linux experts !

    Please give me the links for learning the usage of the Genome Terminal in SUSE/SLED ?
    i am getting only shortcuts or commands of terminal (shell) from google search. i am not understanding it & also tried it.
    i want to learn to install tar.bz, gz (zip files) through terminal & also other driver files.
    will be glad if please give me the step by step process (commands) of installing and executing a program or a file[(which is generally downloaded onto Desktop-downloads-file)] using genome terminal In SUSE/SLED 11.

    Its actually GNOME not GENOME. A good place to start learing the Linux command line is linuxcommand.org.

    Enabling repositories for Open Suse 11 will be a big help for you to for using your package management to install current siftware and drivers for open suse also
