Recommended Disk Size of Guest VM's

I am using Xen virtualization. Is there a guideline for how large to make a guest vm based on the physical machine one intends to virtualize? For example, the web root on one of my physical machines is 5GB. I intend to turn that physical web server into a virtual web server.

    Thanks.

Size it for what you need. ie enough for the OS x2 (for expansion) + enough for your data + 20-100% more or more. We always seem to under estimate the amount of space we need so be generous.

You need to make sure what you need. If you want to build up a web server into virtual machine, you don't need to reserve large space unless many media files will be in your website.
