    SUSe 10 SP1 not installing on DL 380 G6

    Hi,

I am trying to install SUSE 10 SP1 on my DL380 G6 but it seems that the installation is not able to mount the drive.

When I boot the server it starts to boot from the DVD but after choosing Install/Upgrade it gives me an error to insert CD1 in the CD drive. I tried the dvd installation and the CD installation but with the same error

    Appreciate your help

I don't know what "SP 1" is? Is this a Suse Linux DVD you purchased or is it OpenSuse? Did you buy it or download? Where did you get it? If you downloaded, how did you burn? As an image? Do you have a Suse install on your computer now? Is there no option for New Installation if you don't currently have Suse?

I am using SUSE Enterprise Server 10 SP on a new server. The bios starts booting from the CD the first SUSE background where I chose the initial language then install but when I reach the install from CD step it does not mount the CD instead it keeps on asking to insert CD #1. Which is already inserted I tried the CDs and the DVDs that were shipped from Novel.
