opensuse 11.2 on acer aspire one. Wireless
I have an Acer Aspire One ZG5. I would like to install OpenSuSE 11.2.
I want to work wireless. I try to find a driver (Madwifi?) but I only can find a driver suitable for 11.1.
Can anybody tell me how to compile it for 11.2?
Is there another way to enable the wireless function?

Please read the wireless setup sticky and post the requested info.
I think the Aspire One ZG5 has an Atheros 5001 card, but we should make sure. And if so, the driver should be included, but again, we should make sure what's going on.

What exactly is the problem? I notice your bit rate is only 1 MB/s. Not sure if that is related to whatever problem you're experiencing, but you can try to set it higher.

In my previous replies I was connected with wire. I think that did not matter, because the shell script examines the wireless connection. I also have set my bit rate to 11M.
While working with your replies suddenly I saw the "wireless led" on the computer blinking and now it's on. When I disconnect the wired cable and restart my computer, the wireless led turns on again, but I do not have wired connection.
Again - still without wire - I ran the shell script. I am not sure, but there are differences. Here is the new output:
