    [SOLVED] script problems

    hi
    i am looking if anyone could help me write a script to help me with this

    i have got lots of direcrorys named week1 week2 week3 etc.
    how do you compress the files in them and store them in a folder log_directorys
    i would like to have the script sarted by entering progXX with the numbers as arguments

    any help much appreciated

    "tar" and "gzip"
