Amarok 2 in opensuse 11.2 - no sound.

Amarok is giving no sound from any tracks. The test in the Sound system configuration works with either HDA Intel (ALC268 Analogue) and PulseAudio but Phonom says PulseAudio is not working.
The tracks on Cool streams from various radio stations show up and the lyrics are there, but neither the time counter nor the audio output is working. The tracks also change as presumably the previous track ends.
    Any ideas ?
    Many thanks in advance.

go to the opensuse org website, search for mp3 and install libgmp3 then restart your amarok.
