    Sound files with SUSE

After getting my computer to reboot properly, I noticed that SUSE will only play about half a second of my wav sound files and then stops. Is there anything I need to do?

Try another player. I had problems with wav in the kde event sounds. Converted to ogg and they worked.

Try installing mplayer from the packman repository

Thanks. mplayer works. How do I convert to the ogg format? I can't find anything that will do it.

    Thanks,
