    why isn't there a webcam option in YAST???? How do i set up my webcam in Suse?? i treid lvc webcam viewer but i cant get that program to start.

    I don't use Web cams so I can't help directly but maybe if you specify the make and model it is possible that someone else might have gotten it to work.

    Its Logitech QC Express. It shows up in my Hardware Information in list of USB devices. I also tried v4l but "libv4l" is outdated in YAST and v4l2 is installed but doesn't seem to be helping.

    anyone? should i repost this as a SuSE webcam problem?

    isnt there anyone who knows about installing a webcam in SuSE? how is that possible?!
