WordPress will not load
Recently did a hardware upgrade to new drives and OS (SLES11). One of the applications I run is WordPress. I was told to tar up the entire /srv/www folder and untar it on the new server. Did that and now WordPress does not work. I getting message stating that the MySQL module for WordPress is missing.
I have all the modules relating to PHP5, MySQL installed.
I'm not sure if the MySQL needs anything special as I'm waiting for the designer to return.
MySQL and Apache are running.
Any ideals.
Thanks
Jon

hi,
did you create a mysqldump and have you imported that dump to the db on the new machine? You must always face the curtain with a bow.

Nope I was not aware that the system used mySQL until afterwards. I can put the system back together on a test unit. I've have a look at how to do a mysqldump.
thanks
