    Theme installation methods depend on which desktop environment you are using.

    You can find some themes here:

    Eyecandy for your KDE-Desktop - KDE-Look.org

    Eyecandy for your GNOME-Desktop - GNOME-Look.org

    Those sites have instructions for installing themes that can be found in their FAQs and/or Knowledge Databases.

    Googling for themes and how to install them can get lots of hits with information that might be helpful to you.
