    Question installation problem regarding foxit pro in opensuse 11.1 by wine

    the foxit reader pro v 3.0 build 1506 is not working in opensuse 11.1..the message like C:\Program Files\Foxit reader v3.0 build1506\Setup.exe..could not open file..File not found...

    I tried it as root user and wine is installed correctly because other application is working well with it...kindly help men in this regards....

    1) you should not need to be root for anything in wine to work.

    2) Did you check on the Wine site to see if others have gotten that program to work?

    3) why foxit there are plenty of good PDF readers in Linux.

    If you really want to run Windows in Linux (which it seem like you want to do from all your posts) why not try a VM like Virtual Box from Sun???

    Yes, there are plenty of linux pdf readers available.
    And there is even a linux version of Foxit reader available.

    You should use linux programs if you are in linux.
    For virtually everything there is a linux version available.
    Only use wine if there is no alternative program available.

    I want to have pdf reader professional version for linux..kindly help me
