I've been trying to get through a proxy that i have no control over for a while now, to update my system and add components. Call it a class project.

My problem is that my proxy username contains an at-sign in the middle, and i believe this is throwing everything off. I've looked and googled, but anyone who's had this problem can't seem to find a work around as of yet.
