    What is the message /var/spool/mail/acer for? how do I check the mail? I'm new to openSuSE.

    thank you. I use the mail command and by the ? i can chose which number by ?2 and hit enter to read the mail but how do I delete the mail?

    hit enter
    quit
    hit enter

    done so just to let you know # is the number you want the - is for the range like

    mail
    ?d 1-10
    quit

    the quit is to exit the program with the delete taking effact thank you all for your help
