Semantik won't install: couldn't find cmake
Hello all,
I'm trying to install Semantik 0.7.3 on OpenSUSE 11.2 and having difficulties with the dependencies. Here's the last message my terminal spit out on my attempt to start building:
--A whole bunch of stuff the forum apparently won't let me post because it thinks it's URLs and I'm too new--
--Enderror: could not open /usr/share/kde4/apps/cmake/modules/KDELibsDependencies.cmake
I'd had some problems with dependencies on the way to this message and installed gcc and g++ successfully to solve them. But now it's telling me can't find KDELibsDependencies.cmake. I've checked it out - it's not in the directory. After installing cmake, I'm kind of at the end of my wits - I just don't know where to look further.
Another hint that seems to be connected with it: As I was trying to install rkward 0.5.3 (also today) it had problems with cmake too:
Could somebody give me a hand? Thanks a bunch! I'm really grateful for the help.CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:84 (MESSAGE):
ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in

That program can be found in Yast-Software-Package Search(webpin)
It seems to be in the education repository.
No need to compile it.

Thanks for the quick reply!
But I already installed cmake with Yast... I've got both cmake and automoc4, since I thought that might be needed.
Or did you mean another program?

Alright... This probably is a really dumb question... But I can't find it in the repos. I googled for repositories for Semantik and also didn't find anything. On the Semantik page it tells me to download the snapshot and compile it. That's found at (can't post URLs):
freehackers (DOT) org (SLASH) ~tnagy (SLASH) kdissert (DOT) html
In Yast I searched for Semantik and also for KDissert, which is the older version of Semantik. Nada. But maybe I don't have the right repositories installed; however, I couldn't find the repository in the Internet either.

Please go to the opensuse webpage.
Click "get software".
In the package search box type "semantik".
You will be presented with 3 rpm packages according to your cpu type.
Click 1-click install and semantik will be installed with all dependencies solved.
This is the easiest way to install programs and packages.

THanks! That helped a bunch, now it's installed and running. Top! Still a bit confused as to why it couldn't find cmake... But oh well

Best,
Daniel

If you had gone to
Yast-Software-Package Search(webpin)
you would have found it also.
