Graphics card
Ive been fiddling around with opensuse for some time now, when i first started i had no idea what i was doing and while trying to install drivers i think ive done it incorrectly.
ive notice that my graphics are not what they should be, and looking back at what i did i can understand why. i used the drivers for Windows vista and ran them through wine... now i want to try and sort it out....
i dont know what command i run to find out my card or anything so help from the start would be great

intel graphics are well supported and should work out of box with no modification or installation required, based on your output, it looks like they are working fine
what problems are you facing?

well ive tried running a game to see what sort of visuals my laptop can handle...
ive tryed one called regnum but i just get an error message saying:
Unsupported video card!
There are three possible causes for this error:
1. Your video card is too old
2. You haven't installed the latest available drivers
3. You haven't installed the latest DirectX version

DirectX is a proprietary Microsoft technology. It can work via WINE in some instances, but you should not expect Microsoft programs to always work or perform equivalently.
The Intel 945GM is also not particularly well suited to games to begin with, being a relatively low end integrated graphics card.
You can see more of where directx is at with WINE here.
