Wine problems
Help: i have the latest versions of both Opensuse 11.3 and the latest release of Wine. After a week or so of reading up on Wine i finally got it to work and install a Windows based game I love to play. The game installed great and even updated and never got to play it. Now every time I go to start the game it goes to the start screen you hit the button to play, the game guard runs and then all stops. i have even tried to let it sit to see if it does anything else and after an hour still nothing.

Hi cskdigger
Welcome to linuxforums.org... you'll have to give us a lot more information before anyone can help you. OpenSuse 11.3 is fine, but what version of wine exactly, what game etc. Better check out the new members information at http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/lin...ead-first.html.
Go well.Respectfully... Sarlac II

Which Graphics Card do you have?
Post the output of these commands :
Code:lspci | grep -i vga grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
