    Autoboot Suse

    Hey,
I have a macbookpro that I never use because I have a imac.
A week ago I decided to install suse linux on my macbook.
First I downloaded Suse from the dutch suse website and then I burned it on a DVD so I could install it.
Everything went well till I took my dvd out of my computer, after that suse would not start automatically.

When I tried suse on my computer before I removed the dvd everything worked very good so Suse was on my computer hard drive.
Is there a way to autoboot Suse so I don't need the dvd every time.

    Welcome to the forums!

It sounds like opensuse didn't actually get installed to the hard disk and was still running off of the DVD, or it was installed but your bootloader was not updated to include the option to boot opensuse.
