    Delete Suse

    Hi. It's my first vist on this forum. I have Netbook Asus 1005ha and Win Xp and Suse 11.2 on it. I want to uninstall or delete Suse,GRUB and wont problems with computers, expample with loading windows.

    Can u tell me how can i do it ?

    Just do a fresh install of what ever operating system you want to install. When you delete the partitiions and format, Suse will be gone.

    but if i want use PartitionMagic on Win Xp to do this ?

    Welcome to the forums!

    Yes, once you remove Suse the GRUB bootloader will no longer work, so you'll need to restore the Windows bootloader to your MBR. You can find some instructions for doing that on the Microsoft website. I believe the SuperGRUB disk still can install Windows bootloaders, too, if you'd rather go that route.

    If you google "fixmbr xp" you should get a lot of hits like the ones below:

    If you don't have an xp disk, download the SuperGrubDisk suggested above which can repair the xp bootloader.
