    Openfiler and LDAP roaming profiles and Home directories

    Hi

    I have installed an LDAP server on openSuSe 11.3 and Openfiler on seperate servers.I have successfully integrated LDAP with Openfiler as I can see all LDAP users in my Openfiler GUI. The main issue I am facing now is to create home directories on Openfiler when a new user log on,which basically means I want to have Openfiler as my centralized profile storage server. I tried NFS by mounting the home path and autofs but to no avail. I am so confused now...Can anybody point me in the right direction,plzzzzzzzzzz!

    what errors do you get when trying to mount the home path via NFS?

    Hi techstress.When I log in with a new user I get a error : "unable to create /optiusers",then just before the desktop is loaded I get a "kdestartupcofig4 error.check your installation".
