    Exclamation openSUSE 11.3 KDE and Compaq Laptop

    I have installed openSUSE on a Compaq laptop that is approx. 10 years old. The mouse and trackpad will freeze up and a reboot is needed to fix the problem. Thanks!

    Hello and welcome to LF!

    Could you provide some more info regarding the model of your laptop? Also installing KDE in such old hardware is not really a good idea. I would suggest using something lighter, xfce for example.
