Thumbs down Can't add any Repositories???

Just installed Version 11.1 from CD after running for 3 months I could not boot for some reason and tried to repair but no go so reinstalled from original CD.

After trying to install the video repo for VLC using Yast I got an error and now I cannot install "Any" Repo's I get this error message.

There was an error in the repository initialization.
    /etc/zypp/repos.d/HTTP___Servername:_download.videolan.org__
.repo: Line 2 is missing '=' sign

Anyone know what is happening here?

    Thanks

No, but you do know support for 11.1 ends very soon?

You might try to remove then reenter the ones that are giving errors

    Also

    rpm -rebuilddb

will rebuild the rpm data base which may help

Oya I cannot add "Any" Repo and it shows that I have none to add/remove. If I try to add any new one I get it can't add Repo error. Maybe the online upgrade will solve the prob.
    oao

I don't recommend an upgrade from 11.1 to 11.3 you will have all sorts of problems.
Do a new Install. If you tell the installer NOT to format the home partition all your data and setting should be preserved though if you run KDE you probably should reset up the desktop since a lot changed and the old config files may be wrong. rename ~/.kde to ~/.kde.bak

Thanks re-installed 11.1 and seems back to normal now.

I may try the 11.3 from CD if I can find it.
    Thanks again for the help.
    Cheers
