    Angry Suse linux - hanging at hardware config setup

    hello everyone please excuse me for i do not know much of linux, but i have recently bought a hp pavillion p6632w and need to install novell suse 10 64 bit. Everything was running fine and installs, until the hardware configuration screen. it will detect my video card and monitor, but will hang after that no matter how long it sits. i have tried using multiple video cards disabling onboard USB, sound, etc...

    I believe i have tried everything i can as far as my knowledge of linux, if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
