Hello, Before logout I killed "openoffice" and "firefox". Since then, every time I log on those two killed programs re-open. How do I solve this problem? Thanks in advance!...

I'm not sure which DE you are using, but I know that gnome has a session saving feature which will remember the applications you were using and start them back up the next time, perhaps KDE does too, or whatever it is you are using

if its gnome, it should be system->preferences->startup applications
under options make sure automatically remember running applications when logging out is not checked

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm using KDE.
