    How to watch flash videos on opensuse linux?

    I am a complete newbie to linux, and I have no idea what this computer is capable of; it is a linux Opensuse 11.1 and it can operate windows xp through virtual machine. I can't watch youtube and other flash videos however because when I try to there is a bar at the top saying "install missing plugins" I follow the prompts but in the end it says cannot be installed or something along those lines. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can watch videos? The virtual machine can watch videos but it doesnt produce any sound. Help?
    Also, Ive googled this but it wasnt very helpful as alot of it included stuff with commands; and Im not really sure on how linux's commandprompt/terminal works.

    Have you tried using YaST to install the flash-plugin?
